Ocean = Riding Waves?
There is a little bit more to it …
Out over the Ocean, if we have a deep enough Low Pressure System then that will generate Winds. If those winds are strong enough then they generate Seas. If seas are high enough they generate Swell and as the swell radiates away from the fetch area and hits the beach turns into Surf. Surf is what we want and if local wind conditions are favorable then we are Riding Waves.
So maybe this equation should look like this:
Ocean (Low Pressure System x Winds x Seas x Swell x Surf) = Riding Waves
